Fuel prices

Prices come from the UK Government's Fuel Finder scheme, which stations must update within 30 minutes of a change. They can still be wrong or out of date. Check the price at the pump before you fill up. You can report a wrong price in the app.

Safety camera alerts and speed limits

Camera locations and speed limits come from OpenStreetMap and other drivers, and may be missing or wrong. They are a reminder, not a guarantee. You are always responsible for driving safely and keeping to the speed limit. Never use the app in a way that distracts you while driving.

Mileage logs and tax

RumFuel helps you keep records. It isn't tax or financial advice, and you are responsible for the claims you make. Check automatically logged trips before you submit them.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew automatically through the App Store or Google Play until you cancel in your store settings. Free trials taken through the App Store or Google Play turn into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Separately, new accounts get Pro free for their first 14 days; that welcome trial simply ends, and you're never charged unless you choose to subscribe.

Fair use

Don't misuse the service: for example by copying our data in bulk, sending false reports, or trying to break into accounts. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

We provide RumFuel "as is". Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
